WEC Grid Girls

There will be no more grid girls at WEC races. This should have happened years ago.....
I recall thinly dressed young women freezing so much last year at Silverstone that some jackets were eventually distributed. This raised applause in our section of the grandstand.

One actually fainted last year in silverstone due to the cold it was an absolute joke what they where given to dress in.

Slippery slope. This is part of the FIA's master plan to ban women completely. After all motorsport is dangerous. The FIA think they should stay at home to clean and cook

Totally on the fence on this one.
Personally, i'm not bothered in the slightest if they are there or not - i go to thee the cars, if i want to ogle girls - hell, i'm on the internet and there's more filth on here than anyone could possibly ogle in a lifetime.

On the other hand, i have worked plenty of car shows in the past - and i can assure you that not 1 promo girl i've met has felt dgegraded by it - quite the opposite most love the attention / enjoy winding up the crowd and mocking the creepy types. Quite a pity that those that choose to be promo girls get told by those that don't like it that they can't do it anymore - it'd be like me trying to ban corvettes because they sound better than my car and i don't like it.

Here's mine. I took this in 2006 and its my favourite photo in 11 years of LMS. Sad bastid maybe but personally I like looking at crumpet. Grid girls, beer, cars, stinking brakes, cigars and more Grid Girls = Motor Racing.
