My bank will actually charge me about €210 for each €200 I withdraw. 2.75% non-sterling fee and 2% cash withdrawal fee.

1.41 is the bank rate - you will not get too near to this, 1.388 is the best I can find.

Can thoroughly recommend FC Echange, book a sum to be changed and they will hold the rate for upto fourteen days.
No charges whatsoever.Have used them a few times for money transfers from UK absolutely no problems at all.

I've just taken our rate.

To put it in context at £300 a 1 cent rise effectively saves you the princely sum of £3.

Our best call for year end is still 1.42-1.43 as it stands, Grexit not withstanding.
