Anyone know what the score is for parking at/near the circuit for this weekends test day ?

I'm guessing there's restricted facilities (like food/drink etc) as it only a 'day' event ?

Parking a free for all and the food stalls etc will not be on site. Limited facilities.

Yea only the official ACO gift shops will be open. From memory there isn't even anywhere to get food or drink (unless you have a friendly hospitality manager...)

Last year the bar/café in the paddock was open and yes open access to the outer paddock. Just the area behind the pits was for team/working pass holders. We parked in the field/car park opposite the main entrance with no issues.

For future info:

- Parking was free and right outside both main entrances and in camping areas by Dunplop Bridge
- Entry was free on Sunday if you had a GA ticket, or 20E if not
- Access (free, whatever) on Friday PM and Saturday - full open pitlane (but no cars on track)
- All Grandstands were accessible, free
- Reasonable number of hot food/drinks stalls around main area (not sure about the outlying regions)
- Only official ACO Boutiques seemed to be open
- Free Le Maine Newspaper on entry with latest team, car, driver info
- Radio LeMans was broadcasting in English
- Lots of locals take the chance to go
- Museum open, inc snack bar
- Surprised at the attendance (ie - it's a mini-event in its own right)
- Loved the fact the N138 was open, then overnight it's changed into a race track !
- 8 hours of 'testing', split into two 4 hr slots
- Never realised 90% of teams had turned up last week and will be there until after the event
- Hotels cheap & plentiful (some with race teams in)
- Ferry journey back last night was horrendous due to weather - but hey that's life frown

Hope that helps convince anyone to go next year smile

Where about's were you staying?

We were in the Novotel, seemed reasonable and it looks like we had some of the Corvette team staying, good Tram access into town (Its right by a T2 stop)

The only thing I will say, is that we parked quite deep into the field at Bleu and when we left it was a nightmare, the French park like morons and block entry and exit roads so park somewhere you can easily get out of
