We're in there too. Couple of gallardos, couple of mclarens, plus an SL55 and an S4 Avant. We're first timers at BSJ but stayed at the Speedchills private camping before. Can't wait, should be great smile

Sounds like a great collection of cars you are bringing! I'll look out for you. I've also not stayed there before so I'm not sure how big the speedchills area is.

Not certain exactly, the directions with my tickets is:

"Navigate to the entrance to the BSJ public camp site. Tell security you are staying with Speedchills and follow the road straight into the site until you come to a sharp 90 degree right hand bend - the SC private camping site is now on your left and the entrance is further on, on the left, where our team will be ready to greet you"

Given it is only one turn, it sounds like it is relatively close to the entrance, probably towards the north end of BSJ.

Stayed there last year - they have a decent area cordoned off and the hospitality tent and facilities are all good, I'd use them again.

The pitches are measured out almost inch perfect, so don't take a large tent and just expect there to be room. Late arrivals were camped next to the gravel track and were buried in 2in of dust by Saturday night too.

Straight in from the entrance and it's in front of you. Less than 200 yds from getting in

I'm in there this year. A Range Rover, a 458, Carrera 4S and a KTM Adventurer Bike thing...(none of them are mine frown ) 3.5 pitches and 7 guys...
Arriving Thursday evening.
I haven't met him before (friend of a friend) but the Fezza owner is on here somewhere...

maybe use a pitch as a vehicle park and the other pitches as accomodation..?

I'll be there in my Tuscan and a Lotus Elise. I'm a fellow V8V owner so will pop over and say hello.

I stayed with them some years back and it was great! I would happily stay with them again. Tiff Needell turned up in their bar a few times one year, he was fairly 'relaxed' after the race, had a great party and didnt mind a photo either.

Our group have been regulars at Speedchills BSJ and are returning this year. We will be in the 3series GT - come over and say hello. Our resident cameraman Durbster will be making his usual documentary of the event. Great crowd, entertainment and secure area too - brings us back after trying elsewhere.

Cheers

Speedchills at BSJ has become our default first choice. Location not ideal, but is fine if you have legs and don't find using them an offence to your sensibilities.

Security is good, staff are great, bogs are clean and showers mostly warm.

Can't make it this year but will be back in '16

I would expect it is very full by now (last few months)! You could give Anne-Marie a call at Speedchills on Monday for a serious last roll of the dice but no real hope IMO. Good luck though.

Even if you can't get a pitch in Speedchills, you can still buy membership to use the facilities.

Could not find a link on the website to do this, I guess it would be too late now to do this for this year ?
