Bit of a shame they are not acknowledging the 60th anniversary of the 1955 tragedy on the 11th, I guess it's easier for the ACO to downplay the whole thing.

The ACO did have a ceremony just the other day, I would have preferred for it to be more inclusive of the fans.

Sorry to be of a wet blanket despite all the other excellent events during Le Mans week.

Hello,
We can understand your feeling. Just be aware that we had an public remembrance evening in Le Mans in May with ACO dedicated to 1955 accident.

Bye

http://www.ouest-france.fr/ils-se-sont-souvenus-du...

Thanks for that.

Do you know anymore about the Teloche event?

Does anyone also know about any evebt in Arnage village on a Friday morning? Stumbled across it a couple of years ago. Seemed to be about German makes and had some support from BMW I think. Is there anything still planned?

Also, did anyone go to the Mulsanne corner event last year, and if so was it any good?

We were there just before closing. Thought is was a nice privat display of old pictures and movies from '50/'60/'70. There were a few Porsches on display also.
At the back was enough parking place and a bar (food and drinks).

The place was the old garage where the Porsches were prepaired for the race.

Nice exhabition to visit next year.
