En route to our summer holiday destination this year I want to take a slight detour and show the young man around. So aside from driving the public bits of the track and possibly going to the museum can we get into the main tribune to have a look round ?

I think they do circuit tours (pits, podium, buildings etc) so may be possible that way. Not sure if these need to be booked/only on certain dates etc. I know as an ACO member, I can do that but not looked into it behind that.

Museum ticket gets you access to the circuit. I took my kids there enroute home from our summer hols. There happened to be a bike track day taking place so we sat in the stands for quite some time watching them.

You can wander around in the grandstands opposite the pit lane. I'm sure you could head through the tunnel to get to the village section but we didn't bother

It's an eerie place when it's empty

On 1st & 2nd August there will be two UK trackdays using both Maison Blanche and the Bugatti circuit. Apart from those there is not much going on.

A mini bus does drive museum visitors arround the paddocks every half-hour, or so. So partisipants do get an Inkling how Monkeys must feel at the zoo. Those huge empty grandstands are also pretty daunting.
