Anyone else from here going? Or want to?

I was talking to Neil at Speed Chills and they have 4 tickets left for the FIA WEC at the Nurburgring that they be happy to accept an offer for. They could also wrap that up with ferry and coach transfer to the circuit – the tickets would be yours free if you went that way apparently. Got to be worth giving them a call if you were thinking of going.

We are off in the Jagfire to complete the European triple crown of WEC races in the beast!

We're going, can't wait! Also completing the 'triple crown' (or Grand Slam including Silverstone?!) and first time to the Nurburgring so quite excited.. Tickets and Tunnel are booked, but we're winging it with the camping, hoping we'll get in to Camping am Nurburgring.

i remember seeing the the Jagfire outside the Racing Hotel in Francorchamps, looked great then, glad to hear it still 'exists' as it were. We'll be in my much-tamer-but-still-stickered BMW :-)

You passed me (with a Porsche behind you?) on the E40 somewhere in Belgium yesterday. Jag looked good.

Doesnt need confirmation, but yes it was us! Back this evening, clocked over 154,000 miles on the way back. Great trip, brilliant weather and impressed with the facilities.

Good to see Goethe back after his crash at Le Mans, looks like he's not fully recovered though, possibly confidence.

If the reports are correct and the WEC goes back next year, a couple of weeks earlier I'm intending to be there, anyone know the camping situation, camping available in the car parks? Is it ok or a bad music till dawn job?

I went to Nurburgring, I didn't buy any tickets before hand, I just rolled up, paid for camping on entrance (52 euros) to campsite just of the roundabout near the main entrance, site was a bit hilly in places so arriving early advisable. but you can pick anywhere you want, and no restrictions on size of pitch. Toilets and Hot showers, then bought my general entry tickets on the gate.. I did look at Camping am Nurburgring first but it was a much longer walk to the main Grandstand area,
I arrived on Thursday afternoon and was very quiet, most seemed to arrive late on the Friday, Was very noisy on the Friday evening till about 4am. but Saturday night was a lot quieter, I think most of the Germans had worn themselves out on the Friday night. Sunday after race most had packed up and left, a handful like myself stayed and left Monday.
I'll be going again if it returns next year, was a great relaxed atmosphere, excellent facilities, good viewing and big Crowds, I heard 62 thousand spectators turned up ?.
