As 2015 was my first year and we stayed at the pistonheads site, I want to stay there again next year.
I may not take the Range Rover next year - instead may take something else.
Strictly no bottles of port this time.....
When can we get on and book this chaps?

We've stayed with 1st Tickets/PH for th last 3 yrs & about 3 weeks ago received notification of the ability to make early reservations before the end of September for next yr, after which I think they'll make the places generally available. Whilst I'm sure they're are plenty of similar places around the circuit, we enjoy the PH comeraderie & 1st Tickets well organised campsite.

Your party leader should have received an email shortly after this year's race with the advance booking information.

However, details on how to pre-register for 2016 can be found here.

I've done the necessary email too. We were out with friends last night & MrsC was tutting about the unhealthy levels of excitement it still brings for me & I've been now for 3 straight yrs....

I spoke with 1st Tickets earlier in the week about the possibility of an expanding list of travellers & they're apparently inundated with interest for the event before it's even officially publicised - if anyone's a returning camper to the PH campsite & is interested, but hasn't made Brian at 1st Tickets aware, I'd be getting in contact as soon as you can as it's always good to see a few familiar faces in the queue for the bar etc thumbup

Dos anyone know when 1st tickets are likely to open booking for the PH campsite? Never stopped there before but very interested, however we're getting twitchy about booking up so late!

I'd suggest you give Brian at 1st Tickets a call as its sometimes better than an email. They not only do be "posh camping" option which I've used, but also have more traditional Bleu Nord pitch only packages where they can book and they'll also sort your travel to France

Does Bleu Nord have power hook ups available?

Got my email about it all today - should be ready to book as soon as they open it up.

Well I was going to, but at the last moment I decided to book with Travel Destinations and Porsche Curves because I wanted my two son's first trips to be as close to the circuit as possible, even if it is a long walk to the start/finish line.

We were fortunate in that we've had our names with Brian since about 1 week after we got back from this years event! It's expected that the PH "enclave" could be fully subscribed very quickly, so if you know anyone whose been unwittingly distracted by Christmas shopping, tell them to get their priorities right otherwise they'll be grumpy until 2017, if they miss the out on the 2015 availability with PH Bleu Nord!!!

I wasn't sure how quickly it'd sell out this time, but I made sure I was straight on to the booking link at 1 today. Have received a payment notification from Paypal, so hopefully that means we are in and I won't be grumpy until 2017!

Well Dan will be bringing 2 more friends this year so we'll see ya there! They are both LM virgins so we're starting them off in style with private camping, but part of me feels they will be missing part of the experience that comes from sleeping in your car or staying off site and dealing with the traffic in their early years :-)

I'm glad Dan's found himself some more friends....he looked a little lonely on his own in 2014 when we first met him hehe
Get the newbies to read the LeMans sock story to put the look of terror briefly in their eyes before you have your next Le Mans planning meeting aka a beer/curry....thumbup
