Agreed.
Could definately put them as suggested and maybe same at the front to balance it out? Two stripes front, two rear if you dont have enough decal?
You do realise what they are supposed to represent? Sticking them on the car at the front too would make the thing look like a bloody Zebra! Could definately put them as suggested and maybe same at the front to balance it out? Two stripes front, two rear if you dont have enough decal?

Yeah i realised and you are right on the Zebra actually, it would look poor. Get some bullet holes?
Way ahead of you there! I think the stripes will look better in reality than on the ultra-crude Photoshop - I just did that to plan-out where everything would go before ordering the stickers.j

Invasion stripes work - that cerb / jag xk team a couple of years ago used it and it looked ace. Thing is, planes, jags and tvrs are curvy..
I think they'll look much better once actually on the Disco than the crude Photoshop image above.Only thing is...I could do with a couple of "fighter escorts"!

Here's an incomplete Photoshop "preview" of mine. This is about half of the design...stickers arrived yesterday and will be applied the weekend before LM if not sooner!
I did the old invasion stripes and roundels for the 70th anniversary in 2014....that said, The Brethren always find a reason to have fighter planes on their t-shirts with another WW2 anniversary on them, every year. 5potTurbo said:

I wanted to join in on the 70th Anniversary thing but left it too late, then had a last minute panic...electrical problem with the Disco that at first looked serious but turned-out to be the original 10-year-old (at the time) battery!Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
