Good responses.

While I'm at it, I don't get why so many people go year in year out either. Couldn't see sh!t at the start last time I went because everywhere was ten deep. Far too many people and blokes piddling everywhere and anywhere.
Each to their own. However this is a "Le Mans" forum - are you lost? Maybe you were aiming for http://saticoylemon.com/wp/

Or maybe you're subject to some deadly ISIL torture regime where they make you view and respond to Pistonheads topics against your free will? Where should we direct MI5?

wink

Thanks Max.

There does appear to be a huge difference between the quality of the two Mondeo's though! Have you still got it? It looks stunning.

Isn't it a bit naff plastering cars with stickers to tell everyone you're going to Le Mans? It's not an especially exciting drive, nor a particularly long one. I think it looks ok on sheds, but on most of the flash stuff making the journey I don't get it. Brings to mind the Gumball.
I think it's great to see flash cars stickered up! Shows they're really into cars IMO!

My tribute to the 1995 Le Mans winning McLaren GTR. 1995 was my first trip. Should've been last years livery as a 20th anniversary but the TVR didn't make it so it's gone on this year

In case you hadn`t noticed it`s about like minded individuals having fun and enjoying themselves.....you are the 1% on here that obviously don`t know how to do that....suggest you go and join the local W.I.........tt....

Is it naff for people to wear their respective teams replica shirts when watching rugby/football/whatever your choice of team sport? Perhaps, perhaps not. However; plenty of people do it and stickering ones car is merely an extension of this.

We sticker our cars this year particularly so that the Gendarmes don't confuse us with the football supporters from all across Europe who have gone to France and whose supporters don't seem to always admire the sporting ability of each others teams (unlike in motorsport hehe ). Team t-shirts are used to identify your 'lost flock' when inebriated aren't they wink

That's me ready to go. First timer but the stickers really aren't that tricky. Very happy with the result!

A friend does yes, he painted it (does it for a living) but hasn't got round to doing the engine yet!
