Thanks for the interest and it would be great to have you along, however I reckon you're going to struggle to reach the start point by even 10:10am.

The route I've planned is initially 40 miles of autoroute, so if you were definitely joining us, I would lower the pace if you guys were prepared to catch us up.

Hi, Just an FYIO, we had booked on a later tunnel, but changed to 7.20am (miner suggested 7:36am latest) for the meet up, I believe if the earlier time is the same price and you give enough notice, you can change it at no cost. See 'My booking' online. You obviously need to 'find' the 20-30 mins UK side, but that will be easier than getting that back in FR, the last thing you want is to be nicked at the start of the journey for speeding. More the merrier, IMHO, hope you can make it. Cheers.

Just got an email saying my ferry arrival time has now been pushed back to 9:10am. Might switch to the eurotunnel, so I'll leave mine as a maybe for now!

Thanks Srlister. Have already spoken to Speedchills to see if we can get on an earlier crossing but unfortunately been told that everything is booked. Our only option is to play catch up. As a paid up member of the 750 Euro club I have a great relationship with the Gendarmes!!

Always worth turning up early at the Eurotunnel as if there's space you'll be offered an earlier crossing. Also might be worth give Eurotunnel a call and seeing if you can change it direct with them (though may have to wait until you get the tickets a couple fo weeks before the off).

I’m going to slow the pace down on the initial 40 miles so you can all catch up.

The route will be released via email a couple of weeks before Le Mans.
