I can't even login and now the site has crashed.
I actually cut short a holiday to do this and again I'm thinking why do I bother.

Every year I expect they might have sorted their st out, every year nope.
laugh

It's because of bks like this, that the WEC will never become as popular as F1. Which is a good thing, but still.

"Because of too much affluence Ticketing 24 Hours of Le Mans is momentarily stopped."

Didn't get me any further, but I actually spoke to an English speaking person.

Site can't cope (because they must be surprised each year with the volume!!)

Try again in a bit is the party line.

Got fked like this last year and ended up in the last seats in the worst gradstand and said never again. Except that the race was dry and not too hot so we had a great time and decided to do it again this year.

I am really thinking very seriously now about going to work and saying bks to it all, and doing Eurosport and Radio LM and saving all that money.

It is immensely frustrating each year, from the old ridiculous system of sending in your preferred options then you'd hear back what they'd allocate and you then sent the form back to confirm it.

To the useless capacity of the telephone ordering and poor online ordering the last 2-3 years.

I had the same thoughts last year. If I have another day like last year trying to book tickets then sod it. But come June time I know I will regret it.

I thought the French were supposed to be good with IT stuff? Wonder why they find it so hard to get right?

Do the French understand that momentarily actually means for a moment; not 5 minutes, not ten minutes but a moment. Less time than it take to read or write this.

Or do they think a that a French moment, in the grand scheme of thr Universe, could actually be several hours or even days - again.

Comfy sofa - check
(okay, grandstand isn't too comfy)

Cold beer - check
(Easy enough at the circuit, bring our own wine supplies in, and the village bar is pleasant where we stay)

Proper toilets - check
(Yep, in ACO stand and at house we stay in)

No queues for proper toilets - check
(See above)

Comfy bed if needed - check
(Lovely house we stay in, wake up overlooking a nice river, nice hosts, only 20mins from parking)

Travel limited to walking to TV - check
(True, but the drive down is part of the whole weekend)

And I'd miss the atmosphere and sheer enjoyment of going.

No need to run the Gauntlet of the Jungle camp at Calais or Delays on Euro Tunnel due to the fkers.

The French "momentarily" is a bit like our Cornish "Dreckly"
anywhere between an hour and 2 weeks

It's actually amazing that so many people manage to get camping tickets.

1. Got in and booked tickets (could not get discounted camping).
2. Paid and got an acknowledgment screen then closed that to see the screen saying there was a problem and to contact them.
3. Tried phoning but just getting an answer message.
4. Have recieved a automated comfirmation email for payment.
5. Have sent an email now to see if I have bought anything!

Oh well will have to wait and see!!!!

Possibly, but in Cornwall at least you know that. No-one pretends to be hyper efficient and at the cutting edge and stuff gets done when it gets done.

Saying which, we came back from Wadebridge yesterday, where the weather was hot and sunny as it had been for days only to run into winter a few miles before Exeter. Absolute night and day, chalk and cheese and all that. I looked longingly in my rear view mirror as we left the sunshine behind, only to get home to this fking mess. We should have stayed there for the duration of our holiday but have no IT there.

Hi, what's the price of a GE ticket this year please, and can you get parking tickets from the same site ? Not an ACO member so will have to wait till the 6th. Usually go via an agent, but think we do pay a bit over the top, mind you, looking at the posts on here.......... I don't have that much hair left to pull out !!

Thanks

This is worse than not even getting on the website. As I can now get on but don't know if I have got tickets or not!

At fking last. Got in and all the good tickets are gone or are going so can't be booked. Front row in Lagache so lets hope for a dry and not hot race again.

Once again, a complete fking shambles.
