I'm booked at Raccordement even though I'm not an ACO VIP or Gold member. I thought it was ACO members only?

At fking last. Got in and all the good tickets are gone or are going so can't be booked. Front row in Lagache so lets hope for a dry and not hot race again.

Once again, a complete fking shambles.
I think the site worked fine apart from periods with overload which could be expected on the first morning... I even left the site and came back and my basket was still there with a note that I still had 16 minutes left to complete the transaction...

Tearing my hair out here - trying to book ACO grandstand tickets but every available 'green' seat clicked says that the availability has been exceeded! Why is the bloody thing green if it's not available?!!!!!

Simple phone call - wish I'd done it earlier. Problem with website apparently so took my booking over the phone. Sorted.

I had that two years ago when the website said there was no camping available... phoned and I could pick where I wanted to stay.

You are too generous.

I logged in at about 9.05, chose my grandstand tickets and it froze, then I couldn't get back in for about two hours and then all the good seats were in the process of being paid for. For an organization of this size and stature, that is pretty pathetic. If they can't make it work relaibly, they should do something else.

I have to say I agree with RLW. I tried on and off all day from 10am and could not get though on the net or by phone. When I eventually managed to log on to the site at 17:20 all the seats I wanted (and have nearly always got in the past) in the ACO stand or Dunlop had already gone. I've never known them to be sold out so quickly before. What a shambles! And now you only get 3 days of pre-booking before the seats go on sale generally. Not much benefit for the annual subscription.

Well got through on the phone this morning on the second attempt.
They had billed me and taken payment but not issued camping and entrace tickets. They are going to get it sorted and give me the camping discount I did not get.

Waiting with baited breath.

This is worse than not even getting on the website. As I can now get on but don't know if I have got tickets or not!

I seem to have paid, but have had no order acknowledgement

1. Got in and booked tickets (could not get discounted camping).
2. Paid and got an acknowledgment screen then closed that to see the screen saying there was a problem and to contact them.
3. Tried phoning but just getting an answer message.
4. Have recieved a automated comfirmation email for payment.
5. Have sent an email now to see if I have bought anything!

Oh well will have to wait and see!!!!

Thanks.

We have sat in the ACO stand for about the last thirty years up until the online booking started, since when we have never been able to get in there except by paying one of the agencies - twice as much. It is a mess.

It was 10am French time, so 9am here. By about 9:15 most of the camping permits (which is what I was after) had gone from what I saw.

Luckily I got on bang on 9am and bagged some Houx permits for me and the lads. Shame its only November....!! Roll on June smile

I finally got through on the phone - obviously nothing left (except Beasejour).

I'm suprised SO many people are ACO members... is it really the case that just the ACO membership is vast enough that it can fully book all the campsites so quickly? Or are a large portion already sold off to agents before members?
