I have the tag purely for this trip. I tried it last year and it's great using the automated barriers with no queues and not having to mess with finding cash.

Some nice rides in here.

On the subject of driving, does anyone use a Sanef?
I'll probably only be doing one trip to France this year are they worth the money and hassle of organising?
I borrowed a friends for a emergancy last year when I had to go to france & it was great especially on my own.

I have got one this year as I am on the continent at least once a month.

If its for 1 trip not sure its worth it as its 20 euro deposit and then 5/6 euro admin fee then the first 2 trips you have a additional 5/6 euro monthly cost.

After that you pay for the tolls only.

Example went to Le Mans 2 weeks ago. With the monthly fee was £35 one way in tolls (got the train home) Then in 2/3 weeks for the race its another £35 to Le Mans then what ever across France to Germany.

Only thing I have thought of as it is really easy to roll up to the gate and through you go is when you log in online to see your tolls - it has your time at each one. Nothing stopping them then sending a fine if I have gone to fast as you could work your speed out from it I guess. Depends how petty they get

So what's the total cost before you get there?

€20 refundable - (when sent back I assume?)
€10 application fee
€6 annual fee
€5 for the monthly fee when used in France?

Based on the rotation its the turn of my friend's evo 6 this year and not my old 3 which just about made it last year, although we need to do a few bits to get the 450bhp beast trip-worthy. I'll get him to post a pic

cloud9 These are just awesome!

I hope to be doing something similar in the not-too-distant future as long as values don't leave me behind. Might have to pack a bit more lightly though because I'm used to camping / touring in the Discovery!

We have another large group from SportsMaserati.com going again this year, 47 people I think. I'll be driving my GranSport again, 4th year of going.

That thing is loud, you gave me about a day of ear ache in 2014 after I found myself in the tunnel by the museum with you bouncing it off the limiter.

Cheers mate wobble

Brilliant!

If you take it next year I'll follow down in my Goddess and support vehicle. Petrol strikes would have to be sorted at 7mpg.
