I cant make it this weekend but I will be in France on Thursday and Friday trying to spot some of you near Calais and Boulogne-sur-mer next to the highway (parkstops, tollgates, gas stations).

So if you can stop by and let me take some nice shots I e-mail them for free to you;-).

Where did you get the tyre lettering from?
All from here: http://www.teamtarmac.com/product/tredwear-tyre-le...

They're proper glue-on bits of rubber, superb quality and not as awkward to fit as you might think.

Thanks (and sorry for thread hijack ...) - how easy are they to remove? can you move them from old set of tyres to a new set?

I'm tempted but adding £25 to each tyre just for 'pretties' makes me think twice..

Is this anyone's on here!? Plate doesn't match with the one posted earlier in the thread. Spotted driving through Arnage today. Sounded lovely in the high revs - I'll say no more ;-)

We saw you on the drive back yesterday - Bravo!

Weather was awful in an Elise, can't imagine what it was like for you, I doff my internet hat.

TY - it was just a tad damp! Even wearing a full bike suit when I got to Calais I was absolutely soaked through everything I had on - fortunately had dry clothing to change into on the ferry - at least it wasn't cold! smile
