Your not the only one restoring a BMW 02 in time for Le Mans. We have our ferry and camping tickets booked. Heres where the car is at...

Le Mans is the best form of motivation to get your project finished.

Taking the newly acquired 996 rather than a 5 touring - less camping gear this year I think!

@ Patrick T - Thursday is the busiest day to travel down I would say. We go Weds. No track action friday (its a freat day though loads on) so you need to get there by mid-avo Thurs if you want to see any running before race day.

Very nice, should be great fun driving down.

Never seen a photo with the roof on... What is the solution they have for this?

Are you familiar with 987 Boxster Spyder roof, is it a similar set up?

One of these two, probably the Plymouth as it will do better campsite burnouts smile

Depends on the amount of kit to take and my confidence of either making it there:
Either:

Or might go for the slowest journey down there:

New Cayman GTS is delivered April, so I suppose I'll make do with that.

Hope we bump into each other over there. I'm still hoping to have mine done in time. Feels a million miles away from going though!

I'll be on Houx somewhere with a great mix of cars. Where abouts are you? And are you just going back stock with your 02?

First time tickets booked today and we're both ever so slightly excited. Will be travelling from Plymouth on Wednesday night in this.
