The Jaguar ‘Breakfest’ is a new monthly breakfast meet open to all Jaguar owners and enthusiasts regardless of affiliation to a club, forum or group. We meet on the first Saturday of each month (commencing 2nd April 2016) at the prestigious location of the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, home to the impressive new Collections Centre displaying the Jaguar Heritage Trust’s iconic collection of vehicles.

This is a free, friendly and informal gathering, so just turn up anytime from 09.30 (when the café opens) and stay as long as you wish. There is no obligation to visit the museum, although discounted tickets are available (£9 for the day or £14 (gift aid) to receive unlimited access to the museum for 12 months and ideal for those who plan to come regularly).

Privileged parking for Jaguars is reserved directly outside the Collections Centre and, thanks to active support and involvement from the British Motor Museum, the meet will be regularly enhanced by exclusive tours, special displays and celebrity guests in addition to the spectacle of our own extensive range of Jaguar cars from classic to modern. All models are welcome!
The Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club have kindly provided the resources to administer the events.

This will be the largest regular gathering of the wider Jaguar community and undoubtedly a very popular monthly event, but there is plenty of space and all are welcome. There is no requirement to pre-book but to help us prepare for the first meeting and gauge numbers to assist with parking and catering, please reply to this thread if you are interested in coming along (without commitment).
If you plan to attend as a club or group please let us know in advance so we may endeavour to park you together.

And even if you don't have a Jaguar you are still welcome to come along!

Sounds like a great idea. Once the weather can be relied on a little more I'll try and make it along for at least one.

I visited the new look British Motor Museum yesterday. The main museum has seen many changes and the Collections Centre is an impressive building on two floors. There'a about 100 cars from Jaguar Heritage on the ground floor and 150 from the overspill museum collection on the first floor - something worth bearing in mind, because it's not all Jaguar!
As explained earlier everyone is welcome to attend the breakfast meets with or without a Jaguar. It's just a great place to get together and, while there is specific Jaguar parking, we'll also try and reserve area for 'interesting others'!

There's still a bit of landscaping to finish but it's looking good

Arrangements have now been finalised for our first Breakfast Meet this Saturday. Please arrive anytime from 09.30 and head for the new Collections Centre which is clearly seen at the left end of the car park. The museum will open from around 09.45 as will the café, where bacon/sausage/egg sandwiches etc will be available for whose requiring breakfast.
I am delighted to report that at 10.45 you may assemble in the museum foyer where we will commence an exclusive tour of the Jaguar Heritage Collection led by Jonathan Partridge, the Director of the Jaguar Heritage. If the weather is favourable he has also promised to bring out a few iconic cars from the collection to join our own display!
Please note that a ticket is required to visit the museum and Heritage Collection. If you gift aid your admission you will gain a full 12 months free access. Costs are £14 adult, £12 over 60s and £9 group rate for a single day visit.

Please note there are currently roadworks around Gaydon and on Saturday the north bound entry and exit slip roads will be closed at Junction 12 of M40. For those travelling from the south either leave at Junction 11 and go through Banbury to follow B4100 north to Gaydon, or continue to junction 13 (Warwick) and follow B4100 south.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Road closures at junction 12 of M40 have been changed!
On Saturday it will be the SOUTHBOUND entry/exit slips roads that will be closed. For those travelling from the north leave the M40 at junction 14 (A452 Leamington) this leads naturally to B4100 Gaydon and the Motor Museum is signed on this route. For those wishing to access the M40 southbound after the visit, turn left out of the museum and follow B4100 north towards Warwick to join the motorway at junction 13.
If those travelling from the south find the northbound exit at junction 12 also closed continue on to junction 13 (A452 Leamington) and turn left onto B4100 to Gaydon.

PLEASE DON’T SHOOT THE MESSENGER BUT…
Regarding the road closures I have received a communication from Jaguar at Gaydon which states that the situation has reverted to NORTHBOUND entry/exit slip roads being closed at junction 12 of M40 tomorrow. I would suggest that northbound travellers check junction 12 as they pass then leave at junction 13, turn left and follow B4100 to the museum. This will only add a little over 10 minutes to your journey.
For those travelling southbound it may be wise to leave at junction 14 just in case. This is a shorter route to Gaydon in any event.
On a positive note the weather is forecast to be dry tomorrow and we are assured a good turn out so our display should be impressive. Have a great day!

The first breakfast meet was a huge success with 150 Jaguars in attendance. Jaguar Heritage have embraced this meet with fantastic support and provided an exclusive tour and talk of the heritage vehicle collection by their top man Jonathan Partridge.
Such is the huge potential of this event that a facebook page and website have been created to keep everyone informed.

Sorry I haven't updated this thread because it didn't appear to be receiving much response. However the breakfast meets have continued each month and been hugely successful. Full details are available on the website: www.jaguarbreakfastclub.org.uk
Thanks to Cheesie for the 1st October prompt, which should be a huge event. All Jaguars and Daimlers are welcome as always but we also have a special display of XKs from 1996 to 2014 and expect hundreds of cars!
