Anyone travelling down on the Friday evening ?

We've planned for just under a year and our original plans were travel down Friday (leaving AM) and then return on the Monday. Three of us in the Landy. Job done or so you would think.

One of us (not me) unfortunately seems to have screwed up with work time off so he needs to be at work on Friday and then return Sunday evening. I think I've got him sorted for a return trip on Sunday (through a mate in Dubai strangely enough) but I'm looking to see if anyone was planning to travel down on Friday evening and would have space for a mid 40's guy who doesn't smell and doesn't bite.

We're in Maidstone so anyone passing really would be ideal.

Long shot I know.

If he can get the Friday down to a half day the train's an option. 14:55 from Ashford/Le Mans at 20:03 or 15:31 from St Pancras, getting in to Le Mans at 21:03, then tram to circuit.

Saturday morning's also an option on the train. First train's the 06:18 from St Pancras/Le Mans at 12:03.

For a man who doesn't wear a watch I'm not sure I'd trust him on a train schedule
