Hi all,

Along with the gang at Retro Rides, we are are hosting a Gathering at the beautiful Chateau Rive Sarthe, approx 30mins drive from the circuit, on Friday 8th July.

This event is completely free and there will be food and a bar on site. Any and all vehicles are welcome to talk cars, the Classic and bask in the glory of the epic Chateau and its grounds.

Hope to see you there!

Sam @ ETC Event Management

Sounds great, can you publish some navigation details? Google maps?

Hi - the address for the Chateau is:

Chateau Rive Sarthe
Route de Malicorne
72430 Noyen-sur-Sarthe

It is approx 1km from the lovely river side village of Malicorne-sur-Sarthe which has a couple of great restaurants and bars and is approx 35km south west of Le Mans

Watch out for speed traps on the way down from Le Mans, especially as the road goes into single carriageway after dual when you're about 10k away...

Three of us got pullfed two years ago, one had license taken away for three days...

That's my old lime green Carrera in your picture above.... Had a good photo opportunity in front of the Chatuau biggrin

Since all of us will be driving classics, programme your abacus for the following to get there:-

47 49.21 N

0 05.20 E

No cheating! Do not use a GPS! And I suggest a little stop before the bridge as you leave Malicorne and look around, plus, if you like porcelain, the museum is well worth a visit.

That's sods law, we're just an hour & a half away but have guests leaving and more arriving that day. We missed St Saturnin for the same reason too. Que sera! Maybe spot a few cars passing through Ambrieres with luck.

Would love to come, but its a little far south as we are 20 mins North of the circuit. At Sille Le Phillipe. Chateau de Chanteloupe Campsite.

What else are you going to do and 50 mins in the lovely French countryside is not a chore..
