Sadly I will not be attending the race this year. 10 years I've clocked up thus far, but a new business venture (and the wife) prevents me attending in June. Gutted.

That aside I need to watch the race but don't have Sky, live and run a pub in Cornwall (where technology seems to refuse to cooperate but have the standard TV channels. As I post all internet access has died again. So, my question is, how and what is the easiest way for me to watch the race live?

Am quite happy to pay, just want to watch the bloody race!!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you internet works itself out Eurosport is one of the better places to watch.

Costs around £5 for a month on Eurosport and you can watch on your computer or on most smart TVs.

In the midlands we can pick up german eurosport on freesat when testing the system for le mans. If you can get hold of / borrow a dish (the bigger the better I guess) and a freesat box, you might pick it up in Cornwall on free to air.

If you have Sky watch it on Eurosport, if not and your web is no good then options are more limited. Astra 19.2 satellite on a dish and freeview sat box is probably your only other option. Loads of threads on here of how to pick up German Eurosport for free on Astra 19.2.

Get the WEC app on your phone. Get yourself a chromecast on your tv. Then you can stream the whole thing straight into your telly. Its really easy and really good thumbup

I bought the whole seasons coverage (minus LM as I will be there) for 22e iirc

Thanks all for the advice.

Nothing makes up for not being there, as my mates (who are going) keep reminding me. I wish the buggars a good time. ggrrr.

Next year.....

Thanks again. I will be there in spirit.
