My Son has just traveled through France yesterday on route to Spain he didn't have any problems on the auto routes, and he did have to fill up a few times as he's pulling a caravan.
Another Friend is in the Vendee region and he's had 45 minute waits at supermarket pumps. some rationed to 25 euros,
Hope this is all over by the time we get over into France for Le Mans

I usually top up in Dunkirk after the crossing & before heading down and refill when we are in LM for the return before setting up for the week...usually then having a cheeky top up at French prices in Dunkirk area for the blighty leg home and running about for the next week....
I could mod that for Dover and hedge my bets in LM....at least my crossing is early morning on the 13th....but as folks have said...3 weeks to go and we had this last year in July for the TdF with disruption at the ports...which never caused us much delay..

Since I'm overnighting arriving in France on the 14th (bugger!) after Prescott hill climb weekend I've just had a chat with Brittany Ferries. They have made no decisions that far ahead since things might change, but their previous experience is that Portsmouth/Le Havre will be cancelled, those to Cherbourg and St. Malo will run but with delays, and that to Caen (Ouistreham) runs but freight is banned. HTH.
ETA Jerry cans are banned here at Le Mans at the moment. That means my garden tractor is stranded. Is that what the French call a coup de grass?

I filled up today, no problem. Apparently the CRS went into a refinery with tear gas last night and reopened the place. I am pretty certain that it will not be allowed to get out of hand.
I joined a queue of 5 cars this morning at 8:55, every car contained a mum who had just dropped their kid at school. The first woman got in and out of the car 3-times before actually filling her car. Once complete, she got back in and obviously texted her mates to let them know she was back in business. Everyone else can wait.

Just found this website thanks to Beermountain
http://delaware.ripplemotion.fr/#sthash.Vv9FDm7u.u...
it lists the fuel stations on who has and does not have fuel
if that's real-time-accurate, it's a life saver...http://delaware.ripplemotion.fr/#sthash.Vv9FDm7u.u...

edit..oh...whilst few have red lines through them, click on the station icons and you'll see most are diesel only

Well, since the page says 20.30 hours somewhat behind the times, like 18 hours. Not a lot of use then. So I had a look here:-http://www.vinci-autoroutes.com/fr/article/points-...
This might change your route but is more up to date being 9am today, but again that's five hours ago. If I find anything else to help you I'll post.

That's not diesel only, that's no diesel available. Diesel cars a massively popular in France. edit..oh...whilst few have red lines through them, click on the station icons and you'll see most are diesel only

oh...worse news then better news...
confused
I've decided to go via Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
I'm in no rush to get down there, so if it looks I won't get there by sundown I can just rock up at a campsite anywhere...and take my time...
Much nicer roads than (beautifully smooth) motorways and far less tolls...
So screw you Frenchies! you don't win this time!
...although I'm due at a LeMans too
So sort it out you Frenchies!

Le Mans is ~270 miles from Calais, which should mean that even the most thirsty of cars should make it on a tank (assuming you refuel before the ferry). Then we can all sit in the sun and wait for the fuss (and burning livestock) to blow over.
Bloody commies.
Took the Caterham last year. Already decided against it this year, but it's a multi-stop strategy with one of those and the totally unreliable fuel gauge!Bloody commies.

My Focus ST wouldn't even make it on at a tank unless I drove at 55. 275 mile range at 80 mph.Bloody commies.

Hence my previous comment..... I usually fill in Dunkirk and get to LM and refuel for the return....so I could take my chances that the French will serve those who are bringing dosh into the economy.... I usually then top up in Dunkirk before the ferry home....if it's hit and miss then I'll fill in Dover before the ferry... wonder how much veg oil is in LM?.... as I could go for a 50% mix with diesel if fuel supply is an issue..Bloody commies.
