By normal, do you mean fuel readily available with no queues? Like it is now? Honestly, there are no problems I have seen anywhere - in Normandy at least, which apparently was the worst hit area.
Don't you dare come here with your common-sense and evidence. People would prefer to flap and, oh I don't know, make this a sticky. laugh

Drove to Monaco and back over the last week...admittedly I went via Belg/Lux/Ger/Switz/Italy but from Strasbourg to Calais (no where near Lemans of course) no issues at all.
BUT
the last 2 service areas were completely shut prior to the tunnel...that's about 50-60 miles...on that side of the country..

We had six Bentleys come through Le Mans yesterday I presume on their way to the Hotel de France. Petrol is freely available again although the banning of filling cans is still in place because the next strike is on the 14th. As regards the future, I keep getting emails and calls but who can tell? The lines have been drawn and it is handbags at 10 paces but it could get a lot tougher before the end of the dispute. But for sure it is going to be tough the week before Le Mans.

Are you a racing driver? wink

I hate this kind of crap...making me nervous and anxious before an event I've been looking forward to for months... keep the updates coming, for all the good it does either way...

Fuel run out = challenge
Beer run out = Crisis
So let us know if deliveries impacted or the staff at Arnage SuperU come out in sympathy

laugh oh well, more fool them I guess. I've heard a few have cancelled their plans. I've been putting half a tank a day in mine with no problems. Apart from the st French drivers, all is good.

I have spent much time on the calculator with lots of intelligent people (not me).

I can make it to Le Mans on one tank of fuel.

I'm not seeing a problem, OK I may have to live in Le Mans but I will have a tent and I'm sure they'll sell me beer????

Some good news. 4 of the 5 unions involved in the air traffic controllers strike have called off their action.
Only the CGT Commies are still whingeing.
The government minister involved is now talking to the rail unions to try and sort things with them.
Still plenty of fuel around our parts at the mo'.

The flooding and very wet campsites will probably be more of an issue than fuel!!!

Here at Le Mans all restrictions are off and you can fill your spare cans too. Oh, and it hasn't rained today so my cat went out.

When are the fields due to be cut? I'm guessing BSJ is flooded?
