Afternoon all - it transpires that I'll be driving past Le Mans on the Saturday this year during the classic, and see this as a good opportunity to give my little girl her first taste of the great event smile. Two questions really:

1) Having looked on the ACO site it looks like you can't get single-day tickets for Saturday, you need a whole weekend pass. Is this correct?
2) Will I be able to just pitch up mid-morning and buy tickets on the gate, and what's the score with parking for just a day visit?

Much obliged beer

Not sure about the entrance Ticket. Try emailing this lady: Céline Gouin (c.gouin@lemans.org)

But Follow the signs for Rouge and park on the industrial estate outside the Harley Davidson Garage. It's free, safe and loads of us do it. Only a very short walk to the Dunlop Bridge entrance. Parked there myself and its popular. So be early ish.

The Sandy patch between the Motorway and Harley Davidson is the Rouge paid car park. The Dunlop bridge entrance is just of the picture to the bottom left.

Saturday is a great day to visit.

Thanks - yes went for the whole event in 2012 and Saturday was definitely the highlight! Haven't managed to return to La Sarthe since my daughter was born but by lucky coincidence we'll be heading home from our main holiday a little further south that weekend, seemed rude not to swing by en-route and show her what it's all about biggrin

I'm guessing we'll reach Le Mans around 11am though so the paid car park is probably my best bet - thanks for the info, at least I know which side of the circuit to head for now clap

You should still get on Rouge at that time and easily be able to get onto the football stadium at Tertre Rouge. That's free If I remember rightly from 2012 on the Sunday.

Good stuff, thanks. Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to this more than my actual holiday? laugh
