CLASSIC LE MANS, what you driving?
Discussion
Some great cars in this thread. First time as just punters for us, we were there in 2004 but my dad was competing.
Two silver ACs for us, one painted, one bare ally. The cobra is an AC MKIV with Mathwall engine and Jericho dog box. The flywheel is way too light so please excuse all the bunny hopping if you see us trying to go slow!
The bare ally Ace Bristol has winning race history from Goodwood (1960 and 2014) and will (hopefully) have a windscreen for the journey.

There's not even Maserati parking for Maseratis unless you're a French Maserati Owners Club member sadly. May try and sneak in to their compound otherwise we'll just park where we can.
Good luck with that. Two years ago, with the Car Club pass with the make and reg number stuck in the window, the guy on the gate didn't believe the Vixen was a TVR and wasn't for letting it in. My son told him to walk round the car and look at the badges which he did and relented. No problems the days before and after.Konrod said:
After 15years in TVRs, this year it's a 998 Mini. It means I can go with my 19 year old son (we own this between us) and share the driving i.e. he drives after lunch . It's the nearest to a classic I can get him insured on.........
Some fantastic cars in this thread so far!

I'm Thursday morning unfortunately...on the Tunnel. Hopefully things will be better than the carnage it's sounded like over the last week around Calais!
Hi John, we're on the 07:20 tunnel crossing, it's the second time for us and travelling down with another pair, we're both in TVRs. You're more than welcome to convoy with us if you'd like, I've planned a route with a mixture of Autoroute & D roads to see some countryside etc.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
