Some lovely, lovely cars making the trip by the look of this thread. So very jealous I'm not going. MrsT66 booked a 6-bed chateau via Air BnB for my 50th year, got some friends who wanted to come along to help us celebrate my 50th and to share the costs, and started getting everything planned. Unfortunately, the owners of the house sold their own home and moved into the holiday home, thus cancelling our booking. Left it so late to tell us that there was nothing else available for us to arrange and book. Tw4ts. Thanks for ruining my celebration.

Anyway - have a fantastic time everyone... no doubt I'll be thinking of you all when the Classic rolls around!

Buy a tent and book a ferry. Bring the crowd. Stay at Chanteloup, its still a Chateau. And he has Manoirs to rent.

Driving down in this. It's 50 years since the famous 1st, 2nd & 3rd finish, so there will be LOTS of GT40's at the Classic.

Fantastic... my favourite ever car in the best colours... and going to such an iconic event. The anniversary of that first win in 1966 was the main reason I wanted to go.

Have a brillaint time.

That photo has made my day.

mudy,

If you mean GE, tribune, parking and paddock tickets etc. for Le Mans Classic 2016 I ordered ours through the ACO last November and they arrived here in February.

Ah, that's not good then - I ordered mine through Porsche club France and they were really late 4 years ago but not this late! I'd better give them a nudge!

Was supposed to go in 2012 but abandoned due to gearbox issues, then again in 2014 abandoned due to respray not finished in time. This time it's going even if I have to push it!

Gordon Keeble....mmmm, nice.

I remember a time many years ago when it was almost mandatory that the partners in a business based in Reigate, Surrey, all had a GK. Nice to have a meeting there and I was always late!
