Amy.

I set off on Wednesday and didn't see your post but I did get a photo of a green Jowett with a Lancashire registration. Would that be yours?

Please, please, please don't rain. Pretty please......
Went down in my XI in 2009 to take part in the drivers parade. Lovely drive down, then rain on Monday for the drive back that stopped after an hour then lovely again until we hit the UK. Got to the other side of the Dartford and hit a thunderstorm. Weather equipment consisted of flying goggles. Got home alright, even my wife enjoyed the journey!

The car now resides in Finland!

Thanks for letting me know beer

I think my quattro was the only one we saw all weekend. Would have been great to get a photo of it on the screen!!

My first car was a Triumph Vitesse prior to getting a licence, so farm use only.

How much did you have to modify the rear suspension to race it???

Storer,
Glad, indeed proud, to discuss TRiumph suspension, but it would be an enormous thread diversion!

Go to the Triumph forum? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&a...
I'll post about it there, you can respond.

Bests,
John
