Thanks will be there for 7pm tonight, planning an 8.30pm crossing. Hope to get regular updates throughout the day.

Stated update is 30min delays due to a train cancellation early this morning.

Reality is 30min + queue for check in and the same again for passport control.

I've never been on the tunnel so excuse the stupidness of my question.

I have checked in online, do I still have to go through the same checks as everyone else? Or are there less checks because of the form I have completed?

I think you have submitted your Advanced Passenger Information. I don't think there is any form of online check in. You will have to do exactly what everyone else does. Queue up, get entrance, park up, wait for crossing, head to waiting area, board train. The only difference is if you have the Flexible Ticket, whereby you get a bit of food, and probably don't wait as long for a train.

Have the queues subsided yet? We're going through just after lunch tomorrow, and hoping to have missed the football traffic!

We are due on the 7:36 train tomorrow morning - first time on the Euro Tunnel, if today's delays are a cause of train cancellations is it likely to be rectified by the morning (assuming others do not get cancelled...)

If its the added "Football" traffic this will probably still be going on tomorrow morning as Lens is a relatively short distance into France.

The website mentioned is reporting delays of 90 minutes. I will be there around 7pm, and will provide an accurate update.

Terminal quiet, no lines, booked on the 20.50 train and we are on the one we were booked for.
No delays here currently.
Le Mans here we come.

Just arrived in Calais. 1 hr 20 queue to board. Not too bad. Recommend you arrive early as possible and don't go into the terminal. Go direct to boarding

You can only go to the departure queue if the letter for your train has been called, otherwise you will be stopped and sent back to the car park/terminal area. Mind you, it being a LM weekend, the car park can be an interesting experience!

It was mega busy at 6am this morning. Missed our booked train, but all good. Now cruising through sunny Northern France.

Brace yourself for the return ladies and gents. As a regular traveller through the tunnel it's been getting worse and worse so much so that if it's not a family trip, i.e.: no dog, I'm taking the ferry where a super flexi ticket is now cheaper than Eurotunnel standard fare.

Eurotunnel flexiplus fares are a joke as well.
