265,000 motor racing fans from all nations camping together, mixing together in grandstands and on grass viewing areas for 24 hours. Lots of alcohol consumed. Almost all of us went home friends.

Actually i got caught up in a bottle throwing incident on the Friday.. some guy decided he would stand on the roundabout outside the entrance (near the pits/village) throwing rocks and bottles at innocent passers by before pulling out a knife.. 1 young lady was taken off to hospital in an ambulance after a direct hit to the noggin which split here head open. There are C**ts everywhere i'm afraid: agree they seem to congregate on mass with football.

Apologies to the scottish guy who received a mouthful after he fired a nurf gun at me seconds after having a knife pulled out on me.. bad timing mate i'd have found it funny normally..

I camped on Tet Rouge for the first time this year, Made some great new friends, Dutch guys, Danish, 4 generations of a French family, and other English friends that all made me feel very welcome. 1/4 of the way through assembling the tent, the Danes came over and stuck a bottle of 6.7% Beer in my hand and told me I was working too hard hehe

Was in TR, Dutch that arrived opposite us parked up, got out a table and chairs and beers (and nothing else!) and drank at least three cans each before doing any more unpacking!

Was camped slightly further towards the Dunlop Bridge end than the Tertre Rouge Corner end this year..... bit closer to the Dutch 'sound stage' thats always in the same spot every year that started like clockwork Thurs Friday Saturday Sunday morning on the stroke of midnight haha

Camped in bsj in the field next to the main entrance, one of our group went round the campers onthe Sunday evening giving away food we had left over, we just didn't want to throw away good food, 3 different groups of people came over to thank us, one French guy gave us wine and a Danish guy offered us lager. Just shows international relations can work.

Thanks to the guys on Houx that were next to us (Campervan, tent, TV, fridge, BMX bikes).

Gave us a cold beer each as we set up our tents at 1am due to the queues, and even let me have a go on their Raleigh Team Burner, which was awesome. I did a skid and an endo!
