I noticed that there was a new campsite this year I'd not seen before. If you were walking from Bleu Nord towards BSJ, you'd walk past the circuit on your left, Bleu Sud on your right up to the roundabout where you'd turn left for the Porsche Curves and BSJ. This was the field diagonally across to the right at that roundabout (basically opposite the field the PH Friday Service used to be in).

When I drove past that field on Wednesday there was a tractor in it mowing down some pretty substantial bushes.

Was this used to house the people who had to be moved from sodden sites elsewhere, or was this always intended to be a campsite? It had someone at the gate, but the ground looked boggy to say the least!

Pretty sure it was an emergency site to cope with the washed out areas of others, I saw the same tractor on Thursday and the field had plenty of occupants on the Saturday.

There was also a new site down the road from Tertre Rouge - past the bar and the other side of the tram line.

I saw both those new/emergency sites. The one on the Arnage road appeared to be exceptionally boggy in parts and I could only see individual portaloos.

I didnt see the other one until Sunday morning, seemed to be a hike from the circuit.

Is this where half of HA was? Good for us as the showers and toilets were mostly quiet!

We were in the campsite you saw. We had Beausejour tickets but were directed there. We didn't arrive until the Friday afternoon though. We had lots of space and the toilets weren't too bad. Only downside was all our tents were opened on the Saturday night while we slept and one of us had €100 and his phone stolen.
