... yep, folding bike search on ebay has started ... i foresee it becoming a regular night time expedition 
OK, it was good, but...
a) it's lost a bit of the magic if I'm honest - there was something about the old (and before that, the much older / darker viewing area pre-spotlights) which was special; and
b) the new banking for the viewing areas is steep, so you can only really stand on top - OK if you're tall, but harder when it's 6 deep and you can't see over / through the crowd. You could at least stand at different levels on the old banking without requiring crampons and climbing gear.
Overall it's an improvement, but in the same way that the new village doesn't have the same character of the old one.
