Booked our 2017 24Hrs trip 10 days ago.
There will be three of us at least, staying in town as usual.
After a year off at the 24, attending the Classic instead, it is back to the main event.
I have to say I like the theatre of the 24 more than the low-key Classic.
The next 10 months will seem to drag by.....

What makes you say that MB is now Porsches car park? Have things changed from this year??
Well I think so. I called to book between the 24 and Classic and was told that Porsche are expending further into MB and his allocation for 2017 had already been cut from 2016 and he expected it to be cut further. I was told to look a round at the Classic and tell him where else we'd like so picked Mussee.

Hi Trex,
I'm hoping to take my old Messerschmitt from from England next year, for the last 5 years I've been staying on the Thomas Cook Sports site which is about a 10 minute walk to the circuit. I can honestly say this is by far the best campsite at the circuit having tried all the rest over the years. Whilst I normally camp there, Thomas Cook also offer other accommodation options.
The site is very secure surrounded by new security fencing and covered by 24 hr a day security staff. There is a security box for everyone staying to keep your passport and valuables in.
The showers and toilets are spotless and kept clean by an army of cleaners. The site boasts a massive hospitality marque with a large wooden decking outside. The catering is excellent ,this is supported by a well stocked bar.
There's a wide screen TV, and a great party atmosphere on the site lead by a band which plays Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
I don't normally endorse any company but Thomas Cook Sports is the best by far, for info next years race is on the 17th/18th June
