Same, booked mine last Thursday. Wednesday to Monday from Portsmouth. Booked camping in Musee, anyone stayed there before? MB is now effectively Porsche's private car park/playground

What makes you say that MB is now Porsches car park? Have things changed from this year??

Booked our 2017 24Hrs trip 10 days ago.

There will be three of us at least, staying in town as usual.

After a year off at the 24, attending the Classic instead, it is back to the main event.
I have to say I like the theatre of the 24 more than the low-key Classic.

The next 10 months will seem to drag by.....

Well I think so. I called to book between the 24 and Classic and was told that Porsche are expending further into MB and his allocation for 2017 had already been cut from 2016 and he expected it to be cut further.

I was told to look a round at the Classic and tell him where else we'd like so picked Mussee.

Have the FIA agreed with the LM dates now for 2017?
I thought 17/18 June were only "provisional"?

Kev as in "Club Arnage"?
I'm guessing you'll be with DfH then.

Our usual ticket agent has advised no Maison Blanche or Tertre Rouge tickets for 2017 due to limits on allocations....now looking at alternative sites/agents but no TR is a royal kick in the ass, it's been a staple of my groups LM experience for last 12 years.

Booked in with 1st Tickets again as usual, although we're doing the Portsmouth to Caen crossing next year instead of the Tunnel for a change.

Can't wait! biggrin

Hi All

I am hoping to book my first trip to the 24 soon ....Went to the classic this year and really enjoyed it ..Iam sure this question has been asked a million times before but i may end up travelling on my own as i dont think many of my mates or GF will be very interested .......Do many people do this or is it better to travel in a Group.....I spend alot of time in France as i work for a a french firm so no probs there just dont want to be nobby no mates ....Also thinking of booking either the piston heads site or the TD Porche curves ....and the ferry from cherbourg as the drive back from classic was hard going even with 2 people driving ...Cheers

I went by myself a few years back, had an amazing time and still managed to meet some new friends who I now catch up with every year at LM. On your own, in a pair, as part of a group, makes no difference: It's ace, just get it booked!

Gents, girlfriend and I are looking to book our first Le Mans next year, I was looking on the main ale Mans site but no dates yet.

I was hoping to take our old Spitfire across from Germany so would like to book a hotel or on the site it does have an example of th 'Glamping' available.

Anybody help out with the best place to book?

Travel Destinations have some pod type things. That's the nearest to glamping I have seen.

Hi Trex,
I'm hoping to take my old Messerschmitt from from England next year, for the last 5 years I've been staying on the Thomas Cook Sports site which is about a 10 minute walk to the circuit. I can honestly say this is by far the best campsite at the circuit having tried all the rest over the years. Whilst I normally camp there, Thomas Cook also offer other accommodation options.
The site is very secure surrounded by new security fencing and covered by 24 hr a day security staff. There is a security box for everyone staying to keep your passport and valuables in.
The showers and toilets are spotless and kept clean by an army of cleaners. The site boasts a massive hospitality marque with a large wooden decking outside. The catering is excellent ,this is supported by a well stocked bar.
There's a wide screen TV, and a great party atmosphere on the site lead by a band which plays Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
I don't normally endorse any company but Thomas Cook Sports is the best by far, for info next years race is on the 17th/18th June
