So no Audi in 2017. Like em or not they've spent a lot of money on Sponsorship around the circuit. Wonder if ACO will try and make some of that up from the punters?

Strakka Racing pulling out from WEC and going to the Blancpain with a 4 car Mclaren GT effort.

With Audi going we are back to just two manufacturers fighting for the win with no new manufacturers at this point coming, Why don't they just bin P1 hybrid and have just one prototype class either P2 or something much cheaper than P1 hybrid is at the minute. P2 has always been more competitive IMO. with new rules coming for 2018 i do hope they sort something out for the better.

I was at the Blancpain Spa 24 hour this year, the racing was fierce, and it could have been anyone's race from a number of manufacturer,s. I really enjoyed Spa more than Le Mans this year and will certainly be back at Spa next year.

Not so sure about Le Mans though, I might for the first time in many years give Le Mans a miss.

I'll be doing both, as usual, much as as I love the Spa 24 it's not Le Mans, more charm, less awesomness if that makes sense.
