It will be my first time after many years of wanting to go.

I hate camping so don't want to do that.

Money isn't too much of an issue as I can put it through my business.

No idea where to get tickets, which area to see it and which hotels.

A proper hotel? For next years race?

Hmmm..... I think you will be a bit late to that one.

It depends on how close to Le Mans you want the hotel to be, quite close and I think you can forget it for next year. Further away and it would be possible.

There are the Flexhotels.. Maybe speak to Travel Destinations - they seem to have a number of different packages set up for things like this and probably 'know' more than most. You will end up paying for it though.

I am not connected to them in any way btw!

Hotels close by will be a problem for next year but you may be lucky keepx searching the internet, as for tickets the general admission ones are always available on the gate there is no limit so just turn up and buy them. If you want a grandstand then you will again have to move quickly as the best ones will already be sold out. It is a long race so during the time you are there you can move around and see the track from numerous places but make sure you spend time on the pit straight, the main corners and try to get out to arnarge/mulsanne both during the race and during qualy if you are there.

If you're not wanting to camp at this stage you'll be lucky!

You could look at the top end camping, some of those, Thomas Cook etc will put up a tent for you so actually not a lot to do, they tend to have good ablutions and catering on site as well so a good step up from the muddy field you're probably imagining.

Son and I have been going to LM24 since 1996, never camped, always have a single room each in a hotel. I'm too old for camping!

I agree with the other comments here: the chances of you getting a hotel room now within a few miles of the circuit will be nil, unless you happen on a cancellation. You could try the Le Mans tourist office.

We book the hotel maybe in October each year.

You could try to get a room in one of the several hotels in Alencon which is 75 or so KMs north of Le Mans, so maybe 50-70 minutes drive to the circuit which is on the south side of Le Mans. We always get a parking space in Parking Blanc which is excellently placed for access to the circuit. If you do this kind of combination bear in mind traffic on Saturday night can be very heavy so we take the hotel rooms for Friday and Sunday nights and sleep in the car Saturday night. This has an extra plus which is we get to our grandstand seats quite early and we consider early-ish Sunday Morning as the best time for the racing.

As regards grandstand seats, I suspect there will be none available now from the ACO, so you're options are to go to one of the motor racing tour organisations and see if they have any spare (they usually do) and pay their prices, or wait until later and see if anyone is selling spare a seat that they have bought but are not going to use.

So the first rule of going to Le Mans is book EVERYTHING as early as possible: tickets for entry to the circuit, grandstand seats, dedicated parking space at the circuit if not camping, accommodation (hotel or camping) crossing the Channel, either ferry of Eurotunnel.

I would thoroughly recommend a call to Just Tickets.
