I'm trying to get hold of this documentary. Recently released (2016). Seemingly only available in America. Trying to download from Amazon US website prompts for a US card which I don't have. Any ideas? Does anyone know if it's due for release elsewhere?

"The Ford/Ferrari rivalry at Le Mans is one of the most famous in racing history. It started in 1963 when Henry Ford II tried to buy Ferrari to save the ailing Ford Motor Company, which was being crushed by GM and the Corvette on the track and at the dealerships. After months of negotiation, Enzo Ferrari said no, refusing to allow Ford to interfere with what he loved the most: racing. Henry Ford II was furious and vowed to build a racecar that would dethrone Ferrari."

Probably (largely) based on the excellent book 'Go Like Hell'. A very good read and available at ridiculously low secondhand prices:

£8.99 to buy or £4.49 to rent at the iTunes Store. Looks good!

Have you tried chassymedia.com

They produced it, not sure if you need a US-based credit card to buy from them.

It is based on 'Go Like Hell' smile

Saw it, but didn't know the website name, so stayed clear.

Got on download from iTunes in the end.

It's a new company headed up by Adam Carolla, the American comedian/entertainer.

Think it is legit.

Tried to buy a BluRay on their site, but when checking out I kept being told 'Billing State is a required field'. No Billing State to be found, so good not purchase the BluRay. Did fill in the contact form, so hopefully this can be sorted.

Edit: As I am way too impatient to wait for an answer, I bought a copy on amazon.com. Saved me 4 bucks on shipping as well smile

Seems that downloading it through iTunes was a mistake, as I can't watch it in Jodi (media centre on main TV) due to their DRM restrictions.

Right, best get Googling to sort out this pickle!

Downloading direct from Chassy worked (well, it did the second time, failed the first time and needed resetting to allow a further download).

Took their MP4, moved it to the NAS and it played through the TV.

Brill. Have got my money refunded from iTunes, so will download from Chassy and sit back and watch in the new year!

Aye, iTunes, UK account, but I can only watch it through iTunes. My setup runs a programme called Kodi which is connected to my lounge TV.

Sat down to watch this tonight only to find the Brian Laban was on this!

He died this week. He was a lovely gentleman. Will be missed. Brought a few tears when he appeared on the film. Miss him.
