This year the chosen make at St Saturnin is Marcos, so if in the unlikely event you are coming with one then their arms will be open wide to receive you.

At the Mulsanne event, the chosen make this year is Jaguar since it is 60 years since Jaguar won with the D-type. Parking for Jaguars is on the corner outside the golf club.

That was our weirdest moment from last year - Virage de Mulsanne were doing their Ford homage and we thought we would go and have a look, all these fantastic GT40s/Cosworths etc lined up on display...we were in our Mustang. A mad French bloke jumps out and ushers us onto the display, we were trying to explain that we were only having a look..nope in we went and he parked us up next to these great cars. Ours was covered in the campsites finest mud, the interior was a disgrace. 3hrs before they let us out!

I had a strange moment at the St Saturnin meet last year. Rolled up in my scruffy stickered Poverty Pork 986 2.7 Boxster expecting to park up in the top field and was ushered into a space in the "circle of honour" just inside the entrance.

Happened to me twice in the past, once in my old porsche 944 and in my Boxster

Last year at Mulsanne it was so disorganised. One steward fella waved our group (Corvette, 911, Stag, M5) on to the straight to park up, then another 50 yards later told us to stop and not allowed. We got turned into the golf club and ended up driving on to the driving range.

We thought we'd also get to CBW early, by 10am we were wheel spinning on the top field to turn around with everywhere else full. Think we'll end up getting there later this year.

We did the chaos of St Saturnin last year and will never do it again until they sort out the traffic.

A victim of their success....

When leaving St Saturnin turn right at the top of the hill (or left if parked in the field car park at top). It avoids the queue down the back lane across the rail line and past the hotels. Once you get to the next main road turn left towards Le Mans / inner ring road, that road passes over the autoroute. smile

You can also go in that way if you're planning on parking in the top field car park for non show cars, you've just got to work out the route from the inner ring road wink

After parking in the top field walk to the right when going out the gate and down the road of the official exit then take the next left down no through road and at the end is a path across to the top field of the car show smile Much easier than up and down the massive hill in the village!

Agree with Printertosh above, up hill through village turn right, saves all the bother going out the other way.
Always love going to St Saturnin always a good show of cars.
