Le mans Classic 2018 -Best plan Newbie

Speedchills offer prices for single travellers on their private sites but your RR won't fit on their small pitches. If you go up to a C35 then it's quite pricey as there's only one of you paying the ferry.
1st Tickets who run the PH site also offer public campsite tickets from £166 for driver only

You cannot turn up at Parking Blanc and buy a ticket, you have to have pre paid for the ticket beforehand via ACO or one of the ticketing agencies. In effect you book your allocated space in advance. I think there are some car parks where you can turn up on the day and pay but I am not sure.

Thanks for all the advice here chaps. It seems I had read a little too much guff, previously, and also misinterpreted camping prices. I have now decided to book, through 1st tickets, and got the pistonheads deal, at blue Nord campsite, with general admission, and paddock access, all in for £205. It’s a public site, but is 2 mins from track and rear of grandastands. I now just need to book my ferry crossing separately. (£100 return) I plan to go over Thursday, take a gentle drive through countryside, and camp there from Thursday, through till Sunday, leaving the Monday. It seems I was reading prices around £400, which is too much for me, and I thought I was paying admission on top etc.
So looks like a great trip at approx £300 all in, plus food, fuel, and beer. Supermarkets nearby too, so ice available. But I hear they are closed on the Sunday.

My second man (woman) has bailed so I have a good set of single tickets for sale. You would still need to sort camping but it's an easy way to get set.
Advert on the other thread or PM me for details.

Off autoroute drive to Le Mans with a bunch of folk who have been before. I have been to Le Mans several times, but not to the Classic. Need to be on an early crossing on the Thursday to do this.

Driving circuit parts on public roads from just after Terte Rouge to just before Porsche curves (except the chicanes) pretty good Thursday and/or Monday worth doing as well if not doing a paid car club parade lap.
Is this definitely possible? IE including the section from Mulsanne through Indianapolis Arnage to Porsche Curves? For the main race, its only the the Mulsanne open (on Friday). Hoping the Classic is different (my first visit this year)!

I'm sure on the Thursday, it's usually open from Tertre Rouge all the way round to Porsche Curves.
That’s for the Main 24hr event however… I’m not sure what happens during the Classic.
