I just picked up a couple of 5m telescopic fishing poles on eBay for the princely sum of £2.81 to use as flagpoles to spot my tent.

The guy has loads and they go for next to nothing so cheap enough to be a one-trip item.

If you want a flagpole then just get Vixpy1 excited.
Well, a tent pole.
(Probably a chopstick actually)

The flagpoles have arrived, well packed and seem good quality though you probably wouldn't want to land a big fish on them

Stu - nice collection of flags, however I'm not sure they have the same character as our collection of 'inflatables'.........baaaaaaaa

I understand the deal is a bottle of fine 'poo for me & Del if the Tiv finishes ahead of one of the Astons ?

Hopefully see you there

Shadytree,

Is your union flag not upsidedown?

Or are you in distress already?

Stu - I think the fact that the Tiv finished the race under its own steam and one of the Astons finished it on a flatbed counts as "finishes ahead" ?
