Is any body a member of club 24 or used to be a member ?

Is it worth it ? are thier track facilities any good ?

Or is there a better deal else where ?

Thanks

Yup, I'm a member of the ACO club 24.

So what do you get out of it? - well, in terms of the 24 heurs Du Mans, the right to get tickets for the ACO grandstand, on the start/finish straight....the main grandstand has clean bogs & hot showers, it also has a bar/cafeteria with 'around the track' TV.

There is a 2nd ACO complex in the inner track - more loos, big screen tv, food, drink, and somewhere to put your aching feet up.

Additionally, you have a 10% discount on all official trackside merchandising.

You automatically get reduced-price entry to the 24 - only 45 Euro this year, rather than 59. You can also book up to 6 tickets at the preferential rate, and be a preferred customer when it comes to the annual booking of tickets - I booked mine at the end of March & they arrived before the end of April.

You also get a newsletter, (wow !) and for a preferential rate, a copy of the book & DVD of the previous year.

There is a load of other stuff, but possibly best of all, you get vehicle recovery covering the whole of France...all of this for about 65 euro's, which makes it cheaper than you will pay in the UK for European recovery.

It's a no-brainer !!

I joined ACO Club 24 in 2000 and as described above it is great.

You also get to drink in the ACO bar which is inside the circuit on the end of the start/finish straight just north of the pits.

You also get sent all of the results etc. in a presentation pack in about November

Does the recovery cover you as far as home or are you on your own after Calais ?

The ACO Recovery only gets you one call to a Breakdown truck, no recovery home or anything like that, I'm not even sure it even get's you a tow to the nearest garage.

Oh well s**t or bust!

Just ordered 1 x CLUB 24 (2005 issue) @ 92 EUR off their website.

Let's hope they're quick and can get it posted to me in the next fortnight!
