best way to get temporary viper stripes around the compound curves is to use a hairdryer, you still have to wet the adhesive to get the bubbles out but heating the face will soften the vinyl and make it more supple helping it bend/flex
if its to tight a curve simply cut the material at the tightest point and overlap the next part of the stripe by about 5mm, its better to a have a joint which is far less visible than a crease that you cant get loose.
