Rather scary moment as the driver climbs out of the car he had just rolled :yikes: The rear wheel came off just as he slowed for Mulsanne Corner. THe car slid then rolled on the gravel. After a couple of seconds he climbed out of the car. He was taken away on a sit up stretcher. As he was lifted into the ambulance, there was a round of applause from the crowd. The driver gave a thumbs up :). Hope he is o.k.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the 2005 Le Mans 24 Hours! Excellent pics, Supraman. Nicely presented too. Love the night shot of the Audi on the start finish straight.

Great photos! Hang on though, we saw one of the classic cars lose a rear tyre and he simply ground to a halt as he came out of the S's and he walked away. Not green and he did not roll. I don't know what car we saw was as we were quite far (but it was blue).

Do these things just have a habit of loosing wheels?

Actually, if you look at the car that lost a wheel - the plate says 'DOH 3'.

Would that be Doh!...I've only got 3 wheels now!
