Is this the new normal, and is it like that because as an individual you can't buy camping and general admittance tickets directly from the ACO? I remember the more popular campsites you were not able to book directly. I guess they just ship the whole lot out to tour operators these days.frown
No, in fact the tour operators are probably unhappy with their allocation. There are a LOT of new ACO members who get first dibs on the good stuff - the really good stuff sells out in minutes. There has been a huge upsurge in popularity due to the Centenary last year and the return of manufacturers.

It's a cyclical thing. At the moment it's all new manufacturers and Hypercars. Therefore a huge amount of corporate interest.

Us mere mortals get pushed or priced out.

When a few Hypercars don't actually perform well and they drop out, things will get easier. Hopefully.

For sure. Once a few of the manufacturers leave a la Audi and Porsche a few years ago, the pressure on tickets will ease as well...

Make sure you use the Telegram app as without it you have very little chance of snagging anything.
Thanks.

Does anyone know if you can still gain access to the circuit from other area's?. I seem to remember you could just pay 10 Euro to gain access at Mulsanne etc and just paid for the parking. That was pre-covid though so things may have changed.

No, AFAIK the separate Mulsanne and Arnage only ticket has disappeared since Covid.

I don't need it Frederic, I was sorted via the ACO months ago, but it worked for me last year and I know many people for whom it has worked this year. I look at the notifications every 2-3 days, just out of interest, and there are still loads of tickets coming up, you just have to be ready when they appear....

Your patience with repeating the same advice to the stream of people asking the same question rather than spending 5 mins looking at the forum

I didn't think that the channel could grow that much (and help so many people) when I created it, and if the channel has 222 subscribers it's mainly because of you, so thank you for spreading the word across the community.

I'm just grateful for it and I'm happy to share that gratitude with anyone who can benefit from it. As it happens I haven't needed it this year, but next year, who knows? I've actually been really surprised how many tickets have gone up over the last 2-3 days. I think I've had about 15 notifications already this morning.
