Hi PHers,

Finally going to my first Le Mans this year with a group of mates. We struggled through the ticketing system, all the camping tickets had already sold out so just ended up with general admission. Fast forward a couple of months of procrastinating and it's probably a little past time to get something sorted.

We're just looking for a place to legally pitch up next to the car anywhere in the vicinity. Any recommendations where to search good past experiences etc? Stuff slightly further from the circuit is fine - just something we can use if the weather is toss and we need a few hours away from the track?

Cheers!

If you want official camping, try someone like 1st Tickets (a PH partner) as they not only do private camping on Bleu Nord but are also ACO agents for the public camping areas - I suggest you call them rather than email as they may have a slot somewhere but if they do it won't be for long.

PS Brian from 1st Tickets is a PHer & he's a decent guy as I've booked via him since 2013 on PH Bleu Nord thumbup

We've stayed in Mayet in the past, large campsite by a lake with very few pitches occupied.
About 20ks from Mulsanne. May be worth trying if all else fails.

Just look back in this thread to just pre-LM last year. I know the uncertainty is a killer but last year loads of tickets and camping tickets came up in the last couple of weeks. There were so many GE tickets available people couldn't shift them. My advice would be to sit tight and watch this thread very closely and act fast nearer the time.

Sorry I meant this thread:

Definitely try Brian at 1st Tickets.

Failing that, at the risk of becoming exceptionally boring, there are still a few camping tickets coming up on the resale site - several Hippodrome 30 today, Cormier yesterday and a Beausejour on Wednesday.

Team Langoustine still has several camping tickets as well as GE and grandstand tickets.

Great advice all above, thanks. The Telegram app notification script has secured me 2 camping tickets. Have to be quick on the notification when it buzzes you but it's worth the effort and inconvenience of it going off 20 times a day!

Good to hear! Well done. I've been championing the app for months now and I've been surprised at how many tickets are coming up for resale now - particularly over the last 2-3 weeks. My perception is that there have been far more than this time last year (when I was also monitoring resales as I was still looking for something!).

Just seen that Lycian events still have pitches left on a public campsite as well. Late I know, but I’m glad you got sorted.

I have found Camping and Grandstand tickets are still available on the Team Langoustine website

Their website has tickets across a number of Tribune locations—Tetre Rouge, Chapelle, Siko, and Lagache, and others. It looks like they also have availability left for private campsite and public campsite pitches.
