Hi
I've got a nice shiney B5 RS4 (2001). Has a few choice mods too. Have been down twice so far (BSJ both times), and am going again this year, no campsite yet booked, a job for Jan.
Have been really impressed with the stickers, so am planning on doing mine this year. But am looking for ideas. What can you suggest?
Mucho gracias...
If it were me, I think I would take the official safety car look..I've got a nice shiney B5 RS4 (2001). Has a few choice mods too. Have been down twice so far (BSJ both times), and am going again this year, no campsite yet booked, a job for Jan.

How about a take on one of Audis other successful motorsport campaigns. Also relevant for audi support at the 24hrs.I've got a nice shiney B5 RS4 (2001). Has a few choice mods too. Have been down twice so far (BSJ both times), and am going again this year, no campsite yet booked, a job for Jan.

I would personally go for a copy of the safety car myself.

Just a quick thought on the Safety Car theme, will it be a Peugeot Safety Car this year? -
I seem to remember that the previous years winners provide the safety car(s) for the following year... could be interesting!!
Could someone confirm if this will be the case or not?
Or is it who the ACO think will win the years 24HrI seem to remember that the previous years winners provide the safety car(s) for the following year... could be interesting!!

An interesting thought on the safety car, but on passing the circuit all the staff cars and the pace cars are still Audis and I don't think that is likely to change. Peugeot really don't have anything suitable in their range to compare with an RS anyway and the circuit needs a safety car with some oomph to keep the heat in the tyres and brakes of the racers.

As memory serves didn't Audi sign a sponsorship deal with the circuit that would result in them supplying all the course cars for a multi-year period.. ?My Alpina wore a curious mixture of Steve McQueen and Lotus '79 JPS livery last year to mark my first ever Le Mans pilgrimage. Already booked-up for this year in the 1st tickets secure camping - i'm thinking a 1940's pin-up circa 'Memphis Belle' along the side, big as I can afford.
I used Ambient graphics in Cambridge last year - not overly cheap (£150 for the bonnet, side numbers and some assorted peripheral stickers) but a top-quality job and the stickers stayed on until September so I go my money's worth!
An alternative would be some kind of take on the GT2 Alpina racing B6 livery... white green and blue.. but I think i'd need serious amounts of vinyl to make that work so the cost is putting me off.

I had my Stag week @ Le Mans so got a few mates together and ran a 'Dudes Of Hazzard'lads road trip. Its now turned into an annual trip to a petrolhead location in Europe.
We camped next to you on Karting Nord in 2008, the lamborghini attracted loads of admirers but if I remember correctly didn't it leave early on a tow truck?Edited by WIJ933 on Wednesday 6th January 23:39
How dare you!!!!!........well actually it did!LOL
Some tt decided it would be best to take the 'B' roads from Rouen and we all then got totally lost, seperated, and stuck in SO many queues. 2 miles from the track the Lambo had had enough - it shut down half the engine. My mates of course only took the piss A LOT but I had the ultimate response....... my 6 cylinders still have 300bhp.... 15bhp more than their 911 C4!!
