Sounds about right. That said there will always be some paying more than others, even in the same car.

Thats a GT3 car. Different to a GT2 car. Pricewise a GT3 Porsche is something like £150k but the GT2 version is more knocking on the door of £300,000

The GT1 cars are just mental, i saw a 2nd hand Aston for sale somewhere and it was something like £600,000

You're right, it would need a reasonably seasoned driver to handle a GT1 for any length of time, but "gentleman" run of the mill racers like we all want to be, a GT3 would suffice. What an experience though, definitely food for thought if you had the means.
