I tripped over a camera bag late Saturday night near the Porsche Curves, if you are one of these chaps can you direct the owner's attention to this thread?

Pop me an email describing the contents of the bag and I'll re-unite you with it.

Dave

shame there isn't a street name on any of the pics
if all else fails, you could contact the police about lost property and they could request the driver information from the dvla, as you have the reg plate

what a decent and honest chap you are

I thought there might be some mileage in zooming in on the shops in photo#2 but no joy, too pixellated. Anyone have any trick software for that?

I mentioned this on Club Arnage, but is there anyone who has access to PNC that could do a "favour"
Secondly, lets have a guess where they are from.........they look like Northamptoners to me, maybe somewhere around Rushden.
Any more guesses?

I've an idea that you can find out the owner from the DVLA. Just say thatyou've been told your car was hit by it while parked and I think they are obliged to give you the owners name and address. Either that or write an explanatory letter they can forward.

The DVLA are about to get 15 people saying this guy has hit their car.
He'll be arrested in no time at all.

I thought definitely Northern. Although being in London, that could be most of the country biggrin

ETA: Have you tried posting on a VW owners forum?

Sorry, I have to disagree, Maidstone reg starts GA to GO (G being 'Garden of England')

The car in the Pic is FN which is for Forrest and Fens: Nottingham

Maybe that will help to track them down?

By way of an update:
I wrote to the DVLA asking them to provide owner details or forward my letter on to them, unsupringly they wouldn't do either.
So dropped the kit off at my local police station who were able to ID the registered keeper straight away ( lives in the Brighton area) but were still unsure about just giving the bloke a ring.... Data protection and all that!
Still I've done all I can and hopefully the chap will get his toys back eventually.
Cheers,
Dave

Thanks but I do offset the good deeds by being cruel to animals and throwing poo at nuns.
