Weren't these under £300/month late last year?
I think you're mistaking it for the SLK.SL's have never been £300 a month as far as I know.

They never went away, just went up in price.http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-...

That was a one off deal not a lease deal generally offered plus it's not £300. Still very good though but I don't think widely offered and definitely not now. XJ40 said:

Even at the now elevated price they still look a tempting proposition given the performance on offer.
Indeed, it's still a lot of car for the money. It's also at 10k mpa and over a longer period so might average out at not much more.I suppose you could also expect that as it's a VW main dealer you may be a bit more sure of the deal going through smoothly than through a broker, given all the palaver that's happened with these deals.

Mercedes have quoted me the following on an SLK 250 CDI (for mother)
PCP. Deposit £4199 then £299 per month based on 36 months and 10k miles pa
PCH. Deposit £1794 then £299 per month based on 35 months and 10k miles pa
I am assuming the latter price is plus VAT but the salesguy is phoning me back to confirm
If the latter is plus VAT then the price over 36 months is more or less the same. Does it sound like a good deal ?
Ben
Hi Mate, if the PCH includes vat it's a good deal. Mercedes Corporate are more expensive (they are normally way cheaper). If it isn't including vat, then no, it's not a good dealPCP. Deposit £4199 then £299 per month based on 36 months and 10k miles pa

Is there an admin fee to set this deal up? There are currently black / white cars in stock , or there were as of Friday.
Cheers

If Merc corporate are expensive then where else should I try?

The guy was not sure if VAT was included and has not rung back. Agree it is not so good if VAT not included as it does not compare well with PCP.

Hi Ben, Mercedes Corporate are normally the cheapest for (pretty much) any deal. I'd be surprised if this deal includes vat. Was it from a broker? I would try MB Corporate for a quote. I can get you a quote tomorrow if you would like. It's quite a few quid cheaper then £299 p/m from memory but that is Plus VatIf Merc corporate are expensive then where else should I try?

As a reference point my SLK250CDi AMG sport is on a 3+23 with 15k/pa. 1300 down and 430 a month. (Inc vat)
Not the cheapest but I think it's a good enough deal that I'm on my second one. Fantastic car, costs peanuts to run and I like the second one more than I liked the first.
What's the difference DS? Panoramic roof? Colour? Does it perform differently? I agree a great car but just too small for my powerful frame so next is a 4door.Not the cheapest but I think it's a good enough deal that I'm on my second one. It's not, but the leasecos pay to be there and the site may feel that allowing sort by price would cause a race to the bottom and therefore make advertising less attractive to its customers.
Are the results randomly listed? If not let's call it paid preferential treatment then It does make the site less functional for those that use it IMHO.Thankyou4calling said:

It's got the glass roof, but its got the headlining. (Its just the AMG "sport" model; there are no other options (I have my Becker satnav module from the first car). The colour is really nice and that must be the difference - it's Diamond Silver, which is silver with the faintest hint of blue. And the interior is crystal grey (looks cream to me) with red stitching/belts and looks amazing. I bought it unseen ( I rang Freedom Contracts up as mine was due, and just took a chance) but couldn't be more pleased.
It's also got Bridgestones where the first 12 plate car had Contis; either they've tweaked the suspension (it was very hard before) or the new tyres give a far better ride.

The main merc UK website lists the 400. Merc are also offering far more than that as a dealer contribution...you need to go in and tackle them though.
Are you able to give an idea of what they are offering?Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
