It smacks of a business lease to me, but Central, Allcar and Vehicle savers have all said its how this certain finance company go about there finance.

I'm very close to singing the contract, would there be any comebacks on me? I work for a family business owned by my father so obtaining the "letter" won't be a problem, though the lease would be purely personal for me as I do not receive a fuel allowance etc

There were a lot like this for the Golf R deal. They were pulled.

However. The VXR is an outgoing model so perhaps checks are not as tight?

The kit cost £595 Inc vat and an hours fitting at circa £60.

£660 over two years for a massive improvement.

I think its worth it biggrin
Plus any increased insurance cost of course!

I'm still looking at leasing, haven't taken the plunge on anything yet.

Quite like the look of this Merc A series deal, bit of an upmarket econo-box I guess, 78mpg, £197.99 a month inc. VAT. Nice low £258 initial.
http://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing-...

Could justify it on the grounds of the economy being so good, should save a decent amount at the pumps.

520d Auto for £210P/M on a 6+23 for business users.

Silly cheap no? a lot of car for £6100 over two years? Might not be an M Sport, but no doubt not a bad option if 8000 is enough.

Mrs zyp has signed for an M3 lease via a BMW dealer - they also had a similar criteria.
The fact that her monthly car allowance amount showed on her payslips was enough for them to approve the finance.

This is on a personal lease.

It's certainly a stylish hatchback, I'm considering it very much with the wife in mind.

I quoted the manufacturer mpg figure for comparisons sake really, in reality I would happy with the 58 mpg that your getting.

No, that was completely different. That was 'personal' being submitted as 'business' (sole traders)

It's quite common for personal deals to require a car allowance (or the things listed earlier) simply to obtain the RATE that business users enjoy. It's still a personal deal.

Looks a good deal, I wouldn't say the £53 a month they are quoting for the m-sport uplift makes it worthwhile. Only thing that is missing is some sort of media, unsure why BMW don't even include a basic version of it, even the A6 has something as standard albeit you have to pay extra for the ipod interface. Mind you, mate has just got an a6 and I was surprised to see that while satnav was standard, heated seats were not.

Some very odd choices about what does and does not come as standard in these exec machines, but as I say, I think the above is a good deal.

BMW does include business media as standard on the LCI F10.

The 520d does seem super cheap and good its Auto/ Nav/ Leather (no need for M-Sport). Mileage allowance quite low though considering its the kind of car you go for if you're covering big miles.

8k pa is fine if the excess mileage is cheap enough and the miles aren't too high... 20k total per year at 7k per mile is only £84 a month more, still comparable with most 10k deals (let alone 20k).

I think that 420d can be had for less elsewhere as well.
