The company began with 'A' but I have forgotten the name, I haven't go ahead with the deal, I work for a family company and can easily obtain the letter, though its still adjectivally lying
Yes, that's them!!! They had a great deal on Vauxhalls up until the end of last month, but the terms have changed now so those deals shouldn't be available any more, at least not from that funder. No harm still advertising them though... ;-),
Even if you can claim business miles going on a course, you should be fine with them. I wouldn't be surprised if half the people who get letters done for them don't have this, but just have an understanding boss...

Well I suppose if you're sat inside at least you don't have to look at the outside! Not bad value for the spec, though only 8k miles.
Looks like the Vauxhall VXR Corsa (0-60mph in ~6.5secs) may be getting some good deals at the moment.
Around £130 - 210 a month:

Cracking deal for a 330d x-drive.
Just spoken to G2L. It's a very decent family car for me, and I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger. Don't have to work tooo hard on the man-maths with this one. The Plus Pack adds a lot of kit, including better brakes, HK stereo and 19 inch wheels. let's see....

For those of us on more modest budgets, there is a good deal going on the Octavia 2.0 TDI CR 150 Elegance, and the estate version. There's also the DSG version available for a few quid more.
A couple of sites below for example, no doubt everyone else is offering them. I suspect they're pre-registered stock, so colours/options will be limited.

They also do the 320d with manual and s-drive for £195 + VAT. 19" alloys add a fiver so if you're especially tight, you might want to take that off. In addition it's a factory order with a 10-12 week lead, which I'm happy enough with.I haven't pressed the button yet though because excess mileage is 20ppm (!) so unless it's a second car solely for pootling, it could get very expensive very quickly.

Thanks for the heads up. Ive just pushed the button on this. Great deal for an all round family vehicle.Works out considerably cheaper than the PCP deal I was offered on a saloon.

Tempting offer, although they are horrendous looking.
How practical are these GTs? Say for a two child family.
Seen a few cheap used 535d GTs kicking about.
I had a look at a 5 GT and personally considered the conventional touring to be the more useful car. And better looking. And doesn't (often) have 20" wheels specced. How practical are these GTs? Say for a two child family.

The interior of the 5GT is a very nice thing indeed.
