Best lease car deals available?

Does it state any where in your contract that you get any business miles that you may do reimbursed? Some of the leasing companies will accept that for a business lease, not sure about BMW though?

I did consider it for a moment as I haven't sent the docs back yet but decided to stick with the fiesta. I need 15k miles and the focus evidently has a much lower mpg average than the fiesta. Plus reviews seem to be amazing for the fiesta and only good for the focus.

Same here; I truly cannot see the point of Comand for the premium; the Becker is, essentially and to all appearances, factory fit nav. I bought mine for my first SLK in 2012 and have moved it to the new one. £225 from Germany. What would two Comand fitted SLKs have cost extra? Certainly wouldn't put me off if I was looking at a used one.

So, OH's ML350 is coming to the end of its lease now and a replacement is sought

She wants something 'a bit' smaller and more economical, but still big enough for the paraphenalia associated with her and 2 offsprings

Options on the list so far are, along with screen prices for personal (including VAT) from Bluechilli on 3+23 10k

How do these look as starting points? She will need more miles (15k), but experience tells me that changing before her 'the novelty of washing it and generally looking after it has now worn right off and it will be lucky if it gets even put through the car wash anymore' timeframe (2 years based on the state of the ML as it approaches 3...) is the best plan.

Advice please!

I have been patiently waiting for my Golf R personal lease order to arrive, since placing the order on 2nd June. My Golf is on Stage 5 in the VW 'Track my Order' queue, in transit. It started its transit at the start of the week.

Happy days. I can finally ditch my E39 530i Touring shed. Except...

I get an email today from the lease co (Applied Leasing), saying "Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Volkswagen have pulled the extra support on all Golf R orders. I have requested some new figures to see if they are similar per month. I will send across the new figures once I have received this morning to see if you still wish to proceed. If you don’t wish to proceed all monies will be refunded."

I knew support was being pulled a few weeks after I placed my order, surrounding the 'business use' debacle. Being a long-time lurker on forums here (and the R Forum, once I placed my order) I had seen that most accepted orders seemed to progress but orders from that point were being rejected. I asked the chap there whether I would be affected - he said he was monitoring the situation with VWFS. This was the last week of June.

My car is about to land on UK shores, they have a customer waiting for it, but now they are saying they won't lease at the previous agreed rate and have come back with some considerably higher rate. The lease is a personal one, as mentioned, but I do occasionally use for business purposes which I am able to claim back as expenses (which seems to be all that is required for business leases in some cases, as I've discovered after the event!).

Where do I stand? I am due to call the guy back after he has emailed and left a voice message today, but am seeking the advice of the masses first! Many thanks.

Have you signed anything which states the price you'll pay?

Do you not have a contract with them as soon as you send the signed forms back?

Presumably you have plenty of correspondence that this was received and your car ordered.

Needs a better legal bod than I but I'd have thought regardless of what is happening their side, you and have a contract directly with leasing co. Unless there is small print...

Seems like he's trying to encourage you to drop it in order to get much better money for it but doesn't seem right.

Yep. All necessary deposits and broker fees paid in advance. Order form signed the following day on 3rd July, along with accompanying "personaluser proposal form".

My options presented on the email are either a full refund, or to take it (DSG, 5dr) at £325.50 per month - rather than the originally agreed £257.99!

I can't remember exact detail, but it was even picked up on a BBC radio consumer session - surrounding self-employed users only I think, despite being advertised as a personal lease. Someone here will know more than me here, as I let the detail slip me by as I reckoned it didn't apply.
